Bungee Fitness is a low impact, high cardio, fun workout where students are fitted into a harness and attached to a point in the ceiling via a specialised Bungee cord that takes up much of your weight and allows to perform activities that you otherwise might not be able to do.
Bungee Fitness combines aerobics, dance and traditional gym movements such as squats, lunges and pushups, all with reduced impact on your joints, thanks to the bungee cord taking up some of your weight.
Leggings - Mid thigh or longer to prevent chafe from the harness
Any sports or T shirt that covers your belly to prevent chafe from the harness
Trainer type shoes that will allow for lunges, jumps, running on the spot, skipping, etc.
The bungee harness does take some getting used to so for the first couple of classes if you have padded cycling shorts or any gym shorts made of thicker fabric then you should wear those, just until your skin is conditioned to the pull of the harness around your legs and groin.
Make sure you bring some water and a gym towel as you will be sweating a lot
